The LA Brace has a unique proprietary data-acquisition system we call AGP (Algorithm Generated Predictions). AGP requires several phases, the first of which is performed by the Orthotists via our desktop app, called ‘TorsoCAD’.

The use of TorsoCAD for placing orders allows for the input of pertinent patient data and images which has many advantages including:

  1. Brace Class selection can not always be obvious. The upload of images and details allows our design team to effectively becomes a second opinion, thereby reducing the chance of errors.
  2. Data is scrubbed prior to placing an order to check for missing items and/or invalid entries
  3. When issues arise in fitting or below expected in-brace correction, the orthotist and design team can liaise to review details and determine the best course of action to improve results
  4. With repeat patients, orthotists can review prior data and images for comparison.

New Patient

New patients can be manually entered into TorsoCAD and can also be imported via a csv file. The csv file should contain 2 rows, row 1 being labels and row 2 data and should be in the following order

Column 1: ‘Name’ in the format [First Name] & ” ” & [Last Name]

Column 2: ‘DOB’ in format dd/mm/yyyy

Column 3: ‘Age’

Column 4: ‘Sex’ (either ‘M’ or ‘F’)
